South Korean actor Ji Chang Wook will be back on the TV screens but this time with an emotional story. The actor will star in the upcoming Korean drama If You Wish Upon Me starring alongside Girls Generations’ Sooyoung and Sung Dong Il. Following the poster releases, the makers have unveiled the teaser of the upcoming K-drama.
In the teaser, Ji Chang Wook’s character is dealing with great pain. If You Wish Upon Me tells the story of people who dream of “dying well.” The drama will tell stories about the salvation that takes place in the hospice ward and saving “adult children” who have fallen into chaos together.

According to the Korean media portal Soompi, Ji Chang Wook plays the role of Yoon Gyeo Re “who is barely surviving and holding on in the present without the will and determination to live. He is a “broken adult child,” and he has fallen into the habit of causing himself pain by getting tattoos all over his body. Yoon Gyeo Re has fought desperately against the cold reality, going through life in an orphanage, youth detention center, and prison.”
If You Wish Upon Me is set to premiere on August 10.
